Disseminating the appeal of Japanese sake.

Yamaoka Shuzo, located in a premium rice producing area and blessed with abundant water, is a brewery that engages in sake production beginning with rice farming. Their journey has made the most of the region’s bounty and valued connection with the local people. We took a close look at the ideas of the brewery with the motto “jizake (local sake) is culture,” and studied their “sake brewing that moves forward together with agriculture.”
