“Jozen Mizu no Gotoshi” was created in 1990 and became an instant hit by word of mouth. Continuously evolving thanks to its liberal corporate culture that frees it from pre-established norms, currently the 45-year-old Shintaro Takahashi who is the seventh-generation president and 33-year-old Takaki Matsumoto who is the seventh-generation brewmaster, are leading the company to deliver a succession of innovative products that attract young people and sake novices alike. We took a look at the scenes on the ground as well as the passion driving it all.
