Disseminating the appeal of Japanese sake.

In the early 1900s, there were 17 sake breweries on the island of Iki. However, the number of breweries decreased due to integrations of sake breweries and the aging of brewmasters. Omoya Shuzo inevitably had to suspend its sake production in 1990. 30 years since then, Omoya Shuzo established a new brewery that has lit the light once again on the island’s sake culture. This article will cast light on the endeavors of the brewery in the past 4 years, producing sake of the highest quality while promoting the charms of Iki.
