Disseminating the appeal of Japanese sake.

For the first time in about 35 years, a sake brewery has been established in the area of Hokkaido known as "Donan," centered on the city of Hakodate. One woman's passion to brew sake from the rice, water, and people of the Donan region, in other words, "Donan's jizake (local sake)," attracted many people around her and led to the creation of this brewery with the help of many others.
