In 2010, Kaichiro Imamura, the fourth-generation owner, decided on a large overhaul of Wakanami Sake Brewery. Securing piece by piece the necessary talent, equipment, and techniques to make it happen, Wakanami evolved from shipping locally to nationwide. Now celebrating its 100th year anniversary, it has begun the journey to its next goal.
