The "Nanakanba" brand is being rebuilt at a sake brewery in Okuizumo, home of mythology, tatara ironmaking, and one of the leading rice-producing regions in the Chugoku region. With a strong belief "to continue making sake here" the company has been accelerating its expansion into overseas markets in recent years. We explore the brewery’s achievements, for example how it uncovered a completely new fan base through a collaboration with a popular anime series, as it continues to make great strides.
